GSEP Board Of Visitors Scholarship

Description of Scholarship: The GSEP Endowed Board of Visitors Scholarship applies to both currently enrolled and new students and is established to provide lived leadership lessons for a doctoral student matriculating in one of the GSEP doctoral programs. The recipient must be in good academic standing and is required to serve as a student representative on the Board and to assist the Secretary of the Board in preparing minutes and other communications for its members. Meetings are held at various locations. The scholarship is for one academic year.

The applicant must submit an essay (approximately 300 words) and two letters of recommendation from church and community leaders. The essay should address the applicant’s eligibility with particular emphasis on their ongoing involvement in and contributions to the church and the broader community. It should address their experience with technology and explain their planned technology/leadership project. Scholarships can be renewed annually with proof of good academic standing and an approved technology/leadership project plan.
